About

Built for high inflation and weak growth: heavy TIPS, gold/commodities, and real assets. A 20% sleeve flips between value/energy stocks and cash-like bonds using a simple trend in inflation-linked Treasuries. Rebalanced monthly.
NutHow it works
Monthly: 30% in inflation-linked US Treasuries, 25% in gold, oil and broad/agri commodities, 15% in real estate/infrastructure, 10% in emerging‑market stocks, foreign bonds and the Australian dollar. The remaining 20% is tactical: if TIPS’ recent average price is above its longer average, it owns value, energy, materials, staples and utilities; otherwise it parks in floating‑rate bonds and T‑bills.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return ~19.5% vs SPY 15.1%, drawdown ~2.1% vs 5.1%, Sharpe ~3.11 vs ~1.26, Calmar ~9.33. Inflation-hedged, real-asset tilt with disciplined risk control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
