About

A daily-updated, three-tier momentum strategy: invest up to three top infrastructure tech stocks if the market trend is positive and each stock is above its own short-term average; otherwise park risk in cash (BIL).
NutHow it works
- Every day, check if the tech market (proxied by QQQ) is in an uptrend (price above its 200-day average). If not, stay mostly in cash via BIL. - If uptrend is confirmed, look at seven infrastructure tech names: Lumentum (LITE), Tower Semiconductor (TSEM), Ciena (CIEN), Camtek (CAMT), Bloom Energy (BE), SiTime (SITM), Intel (INTC). - Rank these by 12-month performance and consider the top 3. - Tranche 1 (33%): take the top-ranked stock. If that stock’s current price > its 50-day moving average, invest 33% in it; otherwise, allocate 33% to BIL. - Tranche 2 (33%): same rule using the 2nd-ranked stock. - Tranche 3 (33%): same rule using the 3rd-ranked stock. - The result is up to three stock investments (one per tranche) or cash placements, all adjusted daily. - BIL serves as the cash proxy and stabilizer.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
