About

A daily, high‑octane switcher: hedge when markets look overheated, buy tech dips after sharp falls, or ride the long‑term trend with leveraged stock or bond funds. Heavy use of volatility and inverse ETFs; very active and high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: is the market very hot? If yes, shift to “fear” trades (VIX funds, gold, anti‑beta). If not, has tech dropped hard? If yes, either buy the dip (levered tech) or fade a big snapback with VIX + long bonds. If neither, follow the 200‑day trend: in uptrends own TQQQ or long bonds; in downtrends own SPXU or long bonds; hold T‑Bills when signals disagree.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~43% vs SPY ~18%; Calmar ~1.55 signals strong risk-adjusted upside despite higher drawdowns (~28% vs ~19%). Beta ~1.7 suggests amplified uptrends with hedging during overheated markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
