About

Daily, rules toggle between UVXY when stocks look too hot; 3x tech/semis when trends are healthy or after sharp drops; and T‑bills/Treasuries or shorts when stress or inflation rises (guided by volatility, bond, and KMLM cues). Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it turns a risk dial. If many stock funds look overheated by RSI (a speedometer of how fast prices climbed), it buys UVXY (tends to jump when fear spikes). Otherwise it reads KMLM (managed‑futures trends), bonds, and inflation. In calm trends it rides 3x growth funds (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL) or buys dips; in stress it parks in T‑bills (BIL), Treasuries (TMF), or shorts. Note: uses 3x and VIX funds; very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers higher upside with strong risk metrics: ~126% annualized return vs ~21% for the S&P; Sharpe ~1.37 vs 1.05; Calmar ~2.83. Expect upside with potential large drawdowns in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
