About

Daily, rules-based allocator. If the S&P 500 is trending up, it buys strength (often leveraged tech) or hedges when things look “too hot,” and may rotate into commodities/managed futures. If trending down, it shorts tech with PSQ/SQQQ.
NutHow it works
1) Trend: if SPY is above its 200‑day average we’re risk‑on; else risk‑off. Risk‑on: If RSI (hot/cold score) is very high, hold UVXY (fear spike) + BTAL (defensive long/short). If very low, buy TQQQ/UPRO (3x tech/S&P). Otherwise: when growth leads use TECL/SOXL/TQQQ; else use diversifiers (KMLM=managed futures, FTLS, TMF/TMV, UUP) plus a ‘Battleship’ mix of stocks, commodities, gold and cash. Risk‑off: use PSQ/SQQQ (short tech), sized by trend/RSI.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this trend-first strategy targets upside with hedging, delivering ~98% annualized return vs ~31% for the S&P, and a Calmar ~5.8—strong, risk-adjusted upside vs the index.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
