About

Daily, rules‑based strategy that goes offensive in uptrends (tech/S&P, sometimes commodities) and defensive in downtrends (inverse ETFs, Treasuries, cash). Adds volatility hedges when a short‑term “heat” signal says markets look too hot.
NutHow it works
Rules‑based, rebalanced daily. 1) If the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average, it goes on offense: Nasdaq tech (QQQ; TQQQ=3x), S&P (VOO; UPRO=3x), and sometimes commodities (DBC). A short‑term “heat” gauge (RSI) can add volatility funds (UVXY/UVIX) that often jump when stocks fall. 2) If SPY is weak, it turns defensive: inverse Nasdaq/S&P (SQQQ/SPXU, PSQ), Treasuries (TLT/IEF), or cash‑like T‑bills (BIL). It may also tilt to value, financials, utilities, energy, or real estate.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-driven, rule-based strategy for diversification and downside protection. It pivots to Treasuries, inverse ETFs, and volatility hedges in downturns to reduce S&P 500 risk. Note: OOS results were negative.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
