About

Daily, rules‑based portfolio using TQQQ as a market thermometer: buys dips in uptrends, hedges with volatility funds when overheated, shorts when trends break, and buys panic lows. Uses leveraged ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
It uses TQQQ—a fast Nasdaq‑100 fund—as a market thermometer. When TQQQ trends up and isn’t ‘too hot,’ it buys the dip: picks 5 ETFs (S&P 500/Nasdaq/Dow/mid‑ & small‑caps, Treasuries, gold/silver, bitcoin) most below their 30‑day trend, and gives more weight to calmer funds. If overheated, it briefly holds volatility funds (UVXY, VXX, VIXM) that often rise when stocks wobble. If the trend breaks (but not a full washout), it switches to inverse funds that go up when markets fall. If very weak, it buys the long basket. Rebalanced daily. High risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this rules-based, multi-asset strategy beats the S&P: ~21.2% annualized return vs 17.4%, drawdown ~11% vs 18.8%, Calmar ~1.93, with alpha, hedging and trend-following that lowers risk while pursuing higher upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
