About

A daily, very aggressive, rules‑based rotation that mostly rides or shorts tech/Nasdaq with leveraged ETFs, then switches to cash/bonds or managed‑futures (KMLM/DBMF/CTA) and small commodity sleeves when risk rises. Designed to chase trends and fade extremes.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks whether stocks—especially tech/Nasdaq—look hot or cold using recent gains/losses and price vs trend. In uptrends it holds 3x tech/Nasdaq (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL). In downtrends or if things look stretched, it flips to inverse funds (SQQQ, TECS/DRV) or T‑bills. In choppy markets it can switch to managed‑futures (KMLM/DBMF/CTA) and small sleeves in gold/oil/nat‑gas. It also runs quick swing trades in China, biotech, and real estate after sharp moves.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy outperforms the S&P on risk-adjusted returns: Sharpe ~2.94 vs ~1.83, Calmar ~21.6, and ~208% annualized vs ~39% for SPY. Low beta (~0.49) with tech/hedge exposure aims to chase trends while limiting drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
