About

Daily, rules-based “tech-on or T‑bills” filter. For NVDA/AMZN/MSFT/AAPL/GOOGL, it only buys after sharp, choppy pullbacks; otherwise it parks that slice in SHV (cash-like Treasuries). Often mostly SHV; turns on during dips.
NutHow it works
The portfolio has 5 equal slices, one for each of NVDA, AMZN, MSFT, AAPL, and GOOGL. Each day, for each stock: if the last 5 days were very bumpy (high volatility) and its 2‑day “heat score” (RSI, a 0–100 quick momentum gauge) is low, it buys that stock. Otherwise that slice sits in SHV (very short‑term T‑bills).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~2.11 vs SPY ~0.94; max drawdown ~1% vs ~19%; Calmar ~7.9; beta ~0.11. Superior risk-adjusted return with dramatic downside protection and cash hedges, plus tech exposure.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
