About
A rules-based, daily strategy that toggles each of five big tech stocks into or out of the market. If short-term volatility beats short-term momentum (RSI), it holds the stock; otherwise it sits in SHV (ultra‑short U.S. Treasuries).
Each day, split money evenly across 5 names: Nvidia, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Alphabet (Google). For each slice, compare a 1‑week “choppiness” score (volatility) to a 2‑day “heat” score (RSI: a 0–100 gauge of recent buying vs. selling). If choppiness > heat, own the stock; otherwise park that slice in SHV (very short‑term U.S. Treasuries).
OOS-strategy delivers superior risk-adjusted performance vs SPY: drawdown ~1% vs ~19%, Sharpe ~2.05 vs ~0.96, low beta ~0.10, Calmar ~7.12. Capital protection with meaningful upside.
