About

Uses extreme short‑term moves in commodities as a “thermometer,” then flips into one aggressive ETF (volatility hedge, gold, cash, or leveraged stock bulls/bears) to front‑run risk‑on/off swings. Daily trading. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily, it watches commodity-heavy areas—timber, steel, copper/rare earths, base metals, palladium, broad commodities, agriculture. It flags extremes via 1‑day jumps/drops and RSI (a simple heat meter: high=overheated, low=washed out). On a trigger it holds one ETF: crash hedge (UVXY/VIXY), gold (UGL), cash (BIL), or leveraged stock bulls/bears (TQQQ/SOXL/SPXL/UPRO or SQQQ/SOXS/SPXS). Very fast, very risky.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~30.6% annualized vs ~14.7% for the S&P, Calmar ~1.30. Daily commodity signals drive rapid hedged or leveraged bets, aiming higher upside with disciplined risk management versus the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
