About

A daily, contrarian system. It uses transportation stocks’ momentum as a market thermometer; at extreme readings it buys—for one day—the prior day’s biggest loser from leveraged oil, gas, Treasury‑bond, or volatility funds. Otherwise it sits in T‑bills.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks FTXR, an ETF of US transportation stocks. It looks at a 14‑day “RSI,” a 0–100 gauge of how fast prices have been rising or falling. If RSI is very low (<18) or very high (>85), it buys—for one day—the biggest loser from a basket tied to oil, natural gas, long‑term US Treasury bonds, or market volatility (many are 2x–3x leveraged). If RSI is in between, it holds T‑bills (BIL).
CheckmarkValue prop
Daily contrarian strategy using extreme transport signals to time leveraged macro trades; otherwise cash. In out-of-sample tests it shows Sharpe ~20 vs SPY ~0.8, dramatically lower drawdowns, and stronger risk-adjusted gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
