About

A daily, rule‑based swing strategy. In uptrends it buys beaten‑down 3x tech/S&P funds for rebounds; when markets run too hot it hedges with volatility funds; and in weak regimes it parks in defensive assets (cash‑like T‑bills, bonds, USD, or commodities). Very aggressive and tactical.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily switchboard. First it checks if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average (uptrend) and long‑term trend. Then it uses short‑term “heat/cold” (RSI: 0–100; >70 hot, <30 cold) and recent returns to pick what to hold: 3x stock funds (TQQQ=Nasdaq, UPRO/SPXL=S&P, SOXL=semis), or hedges (UVXY/VIXY=volatility), or safe assets (BIL=T‑bills, AGG=bonds, USDU=dollar, TMF=long Treasuries, DBC=commodities). It often buys laggards for snap‑backs; in downtrends it favors defensive winners.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tactical, rule-based strategy targets ~22.4% annualized returns with regime-driven hedging across tech, volatility, bonds and cash. It aims for upside in uptrends and stronger risk control vs SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
