About

Aggressive, daily-tactical plan: usually rides a 3x Nasdaq fund, flips to volatility when overheated, and shifts to gold/inflation or the US dollar when stocks or bonds wobble. Very high risk with big swings and turnover.
NutHow it works
Each day it places ~85% of capital based on market checks. Default: a 3x Nasdaq fund (TQQQ). It switches if: 1) TQQQ looks overheated (an “overbought” score is high) → buys a volatility fund (UVXY). 2) Stocks drop fast → moves to a hedge: the strongest of gold (IAU), a gold stock (FNV), or an inflation ETF (RINF). 3) Bonds plunge (rates jump) → splits between US dollar (UUP) and gold, favoring the steadier one. Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers higher risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ~1.39 vs 1.29), much more upside (~60% vs ~22%), and Calmar ~2.62—driven by volatility, gold, and USD hedges that capture gains and limit losses.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
