A daily market-timing strategy that switches between QQQ (big U.S. tech) and PSQ (the opposite of QQQ) using signals from stocks, bonds, volatility, and commodities.

This strategy makes a daily yes/no call on the Nasdaq-heavy QQQ: own QQQ when conditions look favorable, or own PSQ when it expects QQQ to fall. It reads many market “clues” first—whether the S&P 500 looks overheated or washed out, whether bonds and commodities suggest stress or inflation, and whether volatility is spiking. In plain English: it tries to be long big U.S. tech in good or rebound conditions, and bet against it in weak or dangerous conditions.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
