About

Daily, rules-based offense/defense switch. Buys leveraged tech/semis on dips in uptrends; shifts to inverse ETFs, volatility, or T‑Bills when markets overheat or trend down. Adds KMLM (managed futures) as a shock absorber. Very active and high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: 1) Is the big trend up (e.g., tech/EM/bitcoin above long‑term averages)? 2) Is the short‑term “temperature” hot or cold (RSI: 0=cold, 100=hot)? 3) Are bonds beating stocks, or is inflation rising? If uptrend + “cold,” it buys fast tech/semis funds (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). If overheated or trend down, it flips to inverse funds, volatility, or T‑Bills. It can park in KMLM, a managed‑futures fund, to diversify during stress.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P 500 on risk-adjusted returns: Sharpe ~5.1 vs ~1.3, annualized return ~282% vs ~13%, and Calmar ~75, with dynamic offense/defense and KMLM diversification to dampen drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
