About

A daily, tactical plan: buy 3× tech on sharp dips, buy a volatility fund when markets look too hot, otherwise pick between aggressive (3× Nasdaq) or defensive (BTAL or the most oversold bond/defensive sector) based on Utilities strength and credit vs cash.
NutHow it works
It checks daily. 1) If QQQ’s 10‑day heat gauge (RSI: 0=cold, 100=hot) is very low (<31): buy TECL (3× tech) for a bounce. 2) If very high (>79): buy VIXY (tends to jump when fear rises). 3) Else: If QQQ > Utilities over 100 days and credit > cash: buy TQQQ (3× Nasdaq). If not, hedge: if Treasuries are firming, buy TQQQ; else buy BTAL (defensive). 4) If Utilities > QQQ: buy the most oversold of BSV, TLT, LQD, VBF, XLP, XLV, XLU, UGE.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tactical overlay that diversifies risk with a rules-based mix of tech rebounds, volatility hedges, and defensives. Not a core S&P substitute. OOS results underperform and show higher drawdowns, so treat as a satellite sleeve, not a core bet.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
