About
Daily tactical plan: buy 3× tech on sharp dips, hedge with volatility after big run‑ups, stay long tech when growth and credit lead, and otherwise rotate into oversold defensive sectors or bonds.
It uses RSI, a 0–100 “hot/cold” score, on the Nasdaq‑100 (QQQ).
- If QQQ is very cold, buy a 3× tech ETF (TECL).
- If very hot, buy a volatility ETF (VIXY).
- Else: if QQQ beats Utilities and corporate bonds (CORP) beat T‑bills (BIL), buy 3× Nasdaq (TQQQ). If not, either stay in TQQQ (when Treasuries beat “short QQQ”) or use a market‑neutral anti‑beta ETF (BTAL).
- If Utilities win, buy the most oversold defensive sector or bond (e.g., XLP/XLV/XLU, BSV/TLT/LQD). Rebalanced daily.
A tactical tech‑tilt satellite strategy with hedges designed to diversify and capture growth in tech regimes. However, out‑of‑sample data show large drawdowns and negative returns vs the S&P—riskier and not a core replacement.
