About

Daily tactical ETF strategy. When markets overheat, it shifts into a volatility hedge (VIXY/TLT/BTAL). Otherwise it toggles between growth (QQQ/XLK) and defense (TLT/PSQ/XLU/GLD/cash) using simple momentum and credit signals. No leverage.
NutHow it works
Daily, it first checks if stocks look “too hot” on a short‑term momentum gauge. If yes, it flips to a crash‑hedge mix: mostly VIXY (volatility), plus TLT (long Treasuries) and BTAL (a defensive long/short). If not, it runs “Four Corners”: choose offense (QQQ/XLK) or defense (TLT, PSQ, Utilities XLU or Gold GLD, or cash BIL) using simple checks: tech vs utilities strength and whether credit (CORP) is beating T‑Bills (BIL). No leverage.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 36.25% annualized return, 11.23% max drawdown, Calmar 3.23, Sharpe 1.59 vs S&P 1.22, and lower volatility. A rules-based, risk-managed tactical ETF strategy that outruns the S&P with less drawdown.
