About

A daily, rules-based switcher that leans into tech (QQQ/TQQQ, SOXL) when short-term signals are strong, uses the Big 7 only when they’re trending, and shifts part of the portfolio to steadier blue chips when conditions look less favorable.
NutHow it works
Each day it chooses between: growth (QQQ/TQQQ, SOXL), the Big 7 stocks, and six steadier blue chips. It uses: (1) recent % gains over N days, (2) short-term price averages (3‑day EMA vs 2‑day EMA; rising if 3>2), and (3) RSI(7), a 0–100 speed gauge (strong >64, weak <28). If trends look strong or very weak, it favors TQQQ/SOXL; otherwise it leans on QQQ or the defensive six. If a Big 7 stock isn’t rising, it’s temporarily replaced by AJG.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~2.10 vs SPY ~1.81, annualized return ~90% vs ~21%, Calmar ~8.8. A disciplined mix of leveraged tech (TQQQ/SOXL) and a defensive sleeve aims for big upside in tech rallies with better risk-adjusted performance than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
