About

FinTech theme with a trend switch: if ARKF is in an uptrend, own 3 of the most volatile fintech stocks; if not, rotate into 2 oversold defensive ETFs. Equal‑weight, reviewed quarterly. Concentrated and higher risk, especially in risk‑on mode.
NutHow it works
It uses ARKF (a fintech ETF) as a thermometer for the theme. If ARKF’s short‑term average price (50 days) is above its long‑term average (200 days), it splits your money equally into 3 fintech stocks that have swung the most lately (higher volatility). Otherwise, it splits into 2 “defensive” ETFs (bonds/staples/utilities/health care) that are most oversold by a 10‑day RSI (a quick gauge of recent selling). Rebalances every quarter.
CheckmarkValue prop
FinTech momentum with a disciplined risk switch: ride high‑beta fintechs in uptrends and rotate to defensives in pullbacks. Out‑of‑sample: ~46% annualized vs ~20% S&P; Calmar ~2.54—strong risk‑adjusted gains despite higher drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
