About

Daily, it shifts money into the two sleeves that are working best. It rides trends with leveraged stock funds, bets on short-term pullbacks with long-volatility when markets look overheated, and flips to inverse ETFs/bonds when trends turn down.
NutHow it works
Every day it picks the 2 mini‑strategies that did best over the last ~2 weeks. Each mini‑strategy first checks if the market is in an uptrend (price above its 200‑day average). If it’s hot short‑term (RSI very high), it buys volatility (UVIX) with some cash/hedge. If trend is up but not overheated, it rides TQQQ/SPXL/SVXY. If trend breaks, it moves to PSQ/SQQQ/bonds/BTAL. RSI is a 0–100 “speedometer” of recent moves; >80 = very hot, <30 = very cold.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~74% vs ~20% for the S&P, with stronger risk-adjusted performance (Sharpe ~1.26 vs ~1.10) and Calmar ~2.22. Drawdowns can be larger (~33% vs ~19%), but upside potential is higher.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
