About

A daily tactical system: hedge with UVXY/BTAL when markets look “too hot,” buy 3x equity on deep dips, otherwise trend‑follow—long 3x equity when the S&P 500 is healthy and volatility cools, short Nasdaq in downtrends, cash‑like T‑Bills when unsure.
NutHow it works
Daily process: • If major indexes look overbought (RSI high), shift to a crash hedge: 75% UVXY (rises when fear jumps) + 25% BTAL (tilts to steadier stocks). • If oversold (RSI low), buy 3x bulls (TQQQ or UPRO). • Else follow trend: Above the 200‑day average, own SPXL/TQQQ/TECL only when VIX is easing; otherwise T‑Bills. Below it, short Nasdaq (SQQQ/PSQ), sized by volatility and nudged by Treasury strength. RSI is a 0–100 “heat” score.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~58% annualized return vs SPY ~16.6%, Sharpe ~1.09 vs ~0.94, Calmar ~1.46. Drawdowns ~40% vs ~19% for SPY. Dynamic hedges and 3x exposure aim for big upside with disciplined risk—strong long-term growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
