About

A daily, tactical portfolio: ride stock uptrends with leveraged QQQ/S&P, scale a UVXY+BTAL crash‑hedge when markets look overheated, and rotate to Treasuries/shorts/cash in downtrends. Bond and volatility sleeves add macro and tail‑risk control.
NutHow it works
Each day it: 1) Checks if the S&P 500 is in an uptrend (above its 200‑day avg). 2) In uptrends, it rides stocks with leveraged QQQ/S&P/Dow funds and sizes a crash‑hedge: more UVXY (spikes when fear rises) when markets look overheated, more BTAL (defensive long/short) otherwise. 3) In downtrends it shifts to shorts/cash/Treasuries. 4) Separate bond and volatility sleeves flip between TMF/TMV and SVXY/UPRO vs BTAL/VIXM to manage rate and crash risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample ~10.3% annualized with max drawdown ~11.2% and Calmar ~0.92—better risk-adjusted growth with less downside than SPY. Dynamic hedges (UVXY/BTAL) plus bond/volatility sleeves seek durable gains with protection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
