A fast-moving strategy that heavily leans into tech when markets are healthy, hides in cash-like assets when things look overheated, and often shorts the Nasdaq in bear markets.
NutHow it works
This strategy first asks: is the market in a long-term uptrend or downtrend? In uptrends, it usually chases tech and semiconductor funds very aggressively, especially after pullbacks. If stocks look too overheated, it steps aside into Treasury-bill cash and a defensive hedge fund-like ETF (BTAL). In downtrends, it often bets against the Nasdaq using inverse funds, but may briefly switch long for sharp rebound trades.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
