About

A contrarian, crash‑aware, daily‑rebalanced strategy. It fades overheated markets with UVXY, buys deep dips with leveraged longs, parks in T‑bills when no edge, and shorts Nasdaq in bear regimes—using only ~60% of capital at a time.
NutHow it works
It watches a short‑term “speedometer” (RSI) on major indexes. If markets are too hot, it buys UVXY (a fund that spikes when fear jumps), sometimes with BTAL (an anti‑beta hedge). If markets are washed out, it buys TQQQ/UPRO (3x bull funds). Otherwise: in uptrends it sits in BIL (T‑bills); in downtrends it rotates among short Nasdaq funds (SQQQ/PSQ/QID), BTAL, or cash. Uses ~60% of capital. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~29.7% annualized return vs S&P ~19.6%; Calmar ~1.31, signaling strong risk-adjusted upside. Drawdowns around ~22.7% vs ~18.8% for S&P. Volatility-timing and contrarian rotation aim for bigger upside with managed risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
