About

A daily, tactical system that hunts for extremes and trends. It hedges with UVXY when markets look overheated, buys leveraged index funds on washouts, and otherwise rotates among cash, tech, or inverse ETFs. Very high risk and volatility.
NutHow it works
It uses two simple “temperature” gauges: a short‑term speedometer of buying/selling (RSI) and trend lines (20/200‑day averages). If markets look too hot, it buys a “fear spike” fund (UVXY). If too cold, it buys fast‑moving index funds (TQQQ/UPRO). Otherwise it flips among cash (BIL), tech (QQQ/QLD), or inverse funds (PSQ/SQQQ/SPXU) using trend and bond‑vs‑stock strength.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~33% annualized return vs SPY ~20%; Calmar ~1.46 with beta ~0.97. Higher upside and solid risk-adjusted potential, but drawdowns ~22.7%. Hedging and trend rules aim for durable alpha.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
