About

A daily, tactical strategy that rides tech momentum in uptrends, flips to inverse or volatility hedges when markets look overheated or weak, and uses a managed‑futures ETF (KMLM) as a macro “regime” switch. Uses 3x ETFs/UVXY; very high risk.
NutHow it works
It reads a short‑term hot/cold score (RSI 0–100). If big indexes are very hot (>~80), it expects a pullback and buys volatility (mostly UVXY) with a small BIL/BTAL cushion. If very cold (<~30), it buys 3x stock ETFs (TQQQ or SPXL). Otherwise, it uses trend: if the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day, it rides 3x tech/semis (TECL/SOXL/TQQQ) unless a macro gauge (KMLM, a managed‑futures ETF) flips it into the inverse set (TECS/SOXS/SQQQ). If below, it favors PSQ/SQQQ (or occasionally QQQ/QLD) guided by bond strength. Rebalances daily; very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample shows ~46% annualized return vs ~22% for the S&P, driven by 3x tech upside and macro regime hedges. Higher upside potential, but larger drawdowns (~41%) in crises—mitigated by volatility hedges and regime switching.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
