About

Rules-based ETF strategy that hedges with UVXY when markets overheat, buys 3x bulls on deep dips, and otherwise follows the 200‑day trend—favoring tech/semis/real estate in uptrends and mostly inverse Nasdaq in downtrends.
NutHow it works
It reacts to extremes, then follows the long-term trend. - If stocks look overheated (very high RSI on broad/leadership indexes), it buys UVXY (a volatility “fear” fund) as a hedge. - If they look washed out (very low RSI), it buys 3x bulls (TQQQ or SPXL) for a rebound. - Otherwise it uses the 200‑day trend: in uptrends it holds a bullish basket (TQQQ, SOXL, DRN) when bond tone is positive; in downtrends it mostly holds inverse Nasdaq (PSQ/SQQQ), with occasional QQQ/QLD or BTAL on improving signals.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample growth edge: ~41% annualized vs SPY ~20%, with tactical hedges (UVXY) and 3x bulls on dips. Aims for big upside in tech/real estate during uptrends, while hedging overheating markets. Expect higher drawdowns (~44%) than SPY (~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
