About

A daily, tactical plan: when markets look overheated, buy UVXY (volatility). When oversold, buy TQQQ/SPXL for a bounce. Otherwise hold QQQ in uptrends; in downtrends rotate among PSQ/SQQQ (short Nasdaq), TQQQ/QLD (bear rallies), or BTAL using bond signals.
NutHow it works
Daily rules: If a short-term “hot/cold” score (RSI) says SPY, IOO, TQQQ, VTV or XLF are very hot, buy UVXY (volatility). If TQQQ or SPY are very cold, buy TQQQ or SPXL (3x S&P) for a bounce. Otherwise use trend: if SPY is above its 200‑day average (long‑term trend line), hold QQQ (Nasdaq 100). If below, switch among PSQ/SQQQ (short Nasdaq), TQQQ/QLD (bear‑rally longs) or BTAL (defensive), guided by bond strength (TLT/IEF/AGG/BND) and TQQQ’s 20‑day average.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~45% vs ~20% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.9 and Sharpe ~1.07. A volatility-hedged, trend-following strategy designed to capture rallies and reduce risk, delivering stronger risk-adjusted growth than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
