This is an aggressive market-timing strategy that checks the market every day. If stocks look too overheated, it buys UVXY, a fund that usually rises when market fear spikes. If stocks look beaten down, it buys leveraged stock funds to bet on a rebound. If the market trend is healthy, it leans into tech, semiconductors, and real estate. If the trend is weak, it rotates into defensive or bearish positions, often using bond funds as a stress signal.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
