A daily market-timing strategy that shifts between safe Treasury bills, aggressive leveraged stock funds, and defensive/inverse funds based on whether markets look overheated, oversold, bullish, or risky.
NutHow it works
This strategy checks the market every day and puts money into just one posture at a time. If major stock areas look too hot after a sharp run-up, it parks in SGOV, a very safe short-term Treasury fund. If some stock funds look washed out after a drop, it buys leveraged stock funds for a rebound. Otherwise, it decides between bullish or defensive positions using long-term trend signals and a “risk mood” check based partly on KMLM, a managed-futures fund.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
