About

A daily, rules‑based crash‑hedge and rebound system: buys volatility (UVXY) when markets look overheated, buys leveraged stock funds on sharp dips, and otherwise sits in T‑Bills or uses inverse Nasdaq in downtrends.
NutHow it works
Daily rules: 1) If stocks look overheated on a 0–100 short‑term “heat” score (RSI), buy a fear/volatility fund that jumps when selloffs hit (UVXY), sometimes mixed with a defensive market‑neutral fund (BTAL). 2) If deeply oversold, buy fast‑moving stock funds (TQQQ/SPXL). 3) Otherwise, if trend is down use inverse Nasdaq (PSQ/SQQQ); if up sit in T‑Bills (BIL).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~31% annualized vs ~21% S&P, with Calmar ~1.30. Dynamic hedges target big upside while managing risk; note higher drawdown potential than SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
