About
Contrarian, tactical plan: buy UVXY when markets look too hot; buy leveraged stock ETFs when washed out; otherwise use a trend filter to sit in T‑Bills or short tech. Rebalances daily; high risk.
Daily it reads a heat gauge (RSI, 0–100) on big stock indexes. If any are very hot (>~80), it flips defensive: UVXY (volatility that jumps when stocks drop), sometimes with BTAL (defensive anti‑beta). If very cold (<30), it buys TQQQ or SPXL (3x long). Otherwise, if trend is down, it rotates among PSQ/SQQQ (short tech) or BTAL; if trend is up, it parks in BIL (T‑Bills).
Out-of-sample, this contrarian/tactical strategy delivers ~30.3% annualized return vs SPY’s ~20.7%, with Calmar ~1.27 and hedges (UVXY/BTAL) for higher upside and dynamic risk control—potentially stronger long-run performance than the S&P 500.
