This strategy checks whether U.S. stock markets—especially the S&P 500 and Nasdaq—look overheated, beaten down, or weak. If markets have surged too fast, it shifts into volatility protection (UVXY) plus safer holdings like Treasury bills (BIL) and BTAL. If markets have fallen hard, it sometimes bets on a rebound with leveraged stock funds like TQQQ or SPXL. In weaker trends, it may hold cash-like bills or bet against the Nasdaq using PSQ or SQQQ.
