A very aggressive market-timing strategy that chases strong stock trends, buys dips, and quickly switches to crash hedges or bearish Nasdaq trades when markets look overheated or weak.
NutHow it works
This strategy only puts 60% of the portfolio to work and leaves 40% in cash. It first checks if stocks look too hot after a fast run-up. If so, it shifts into volatility protection using UVXY and BTAL. If not, it buys sharp dips in the Nasdaq or S&P 500 using leveraged funds. Otherwise it follows the bigger trend: above the long-term trend it owns a basket of aggressive growth sectors; below it, it often bets against the Nasdaq.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
