A very aggressive market-timing strategy that switches daily between leveraged stock bets, volatility hedges, bonds, gold, and bearish positions depending on whether the market looks overheated, oversold, bullish, or weak.

This strategy checks the market every day and asks: are stocks too hot, too cold, or in a normal trend? If markets look overheated, it shifts toward fear/hedge positions like UVXY, cash-like T-bills, and BTAL. If markets look washed out, it may buy aggressive stock funds for a rebound. Otherwise it rotates between leveraged U.S. stocks, long-term Treasuries, gold, and inverse Nasdaq funds based on trend and market stress signals.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
