About

Daily tactical strategy. Rides strong markets with leveraged tech; if things look overheated it holds UVXY with cash/BTAL; if weak, it hedges with inverse equity or Treasury trades and gold. Uses an RSI “hot/cold” meter and a bond‑trend booster.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: is the S&P 500 above its 200‑day trend? If yes, go on offense. If several indexes look “too hot” on a simple hot/cold gauge (RSI), buy a volatility spike fund (UVXY) plus T‑bills (BIL) and a defensive long/short fund (BTAL). Otherwise rotate among 2x Nasdaq (QLD), long Treasuries (TMF), gold (GLD), or hedge with short‑Nasdaq (PSQ) or short‑Treasuries (TMV), aided by a bond‑trend “Zoop” booster. In sharp dips it buys TQQQ/SPXL. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~43% annualized return with ~0.99 Sharpe and Calmar ~1.91, versus SPY's ~15% return and ~0.86 Sharpe. Higher upside under controlled risk via volatility hedges, leveraged tacticals, and bond-trend boosts.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
