About
A daily tactical strategy that swings between leveraged stock ETFs, inverse Nasdaq hedges, and a volatility spike fund. It uses overbought/oversold readings (RSI), long‑term trend, and bond/volatility cues to decide. Very aggressive and high risk.
Each day it checks if markets look “too hot” or “too cold” using RSI (a 0–100 speed gauge: >~80 very hot, <~30 very cold) on the S&P 500, global giants, tech, value, banks and communications. Too hot: buy a volatility spike fund (UVXY) plus a defensive anti‑beta fund (BTAL). Too cold: buy 3× stock funds (TQQQ/UPRO) for a rebound. Else use trend: above 200‑day and volatility easing → 3× S&P (SPXL), else T‑Bills (BIL). In downtrends, short the Nasdaq (SQQQ/PSQ) or briefly go long for bear rallies, guided by bond strength. Rebalances daily.
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers stronger risk-adjusted gains than the S&P 500: Sharpe ~1.17 vs ~1.04 and ~57% annualized return vs ~18%. Leveraged, tactical bets with volatility hedges aim for bigger upside with managed risk.
