A daily, rules-based strategy that splits capital into two sleeves and actively switches between Nasdaq bets, bearish positions, bonds, and cash-like T-bills based on trend, recent momentum, and market stress.

This strategy is checked every day and appears to split money into two equal “mini-strategies.” Most decisions revolve around the Nasdaq-100 (QQQ): sometimes it buys it, sometimes it buys a 2x bullish version (QLD), and sometimes it bets against it with PSQ or the more aggressive 2x bearish QID. It uses three main clues: trend, recent momentum, and whether the market has fallen unusually hard. Bonds are used as a “weather gauge” to judge how defensive the strategy should be. When conditions look poor, it can move to BIL, a cash-like short-term Treasury fund.

Out-of-sample: ~13.41%/yr return with ~16.51% max drawdown vs S&P ~18.33%/18.76%; beta ~0.39 and Calmar ~0.81 indicate steadier, risk-adjusted gains. A daily, rules-based Nasdaq-focused strategy with built-in downside protection.
