About

A tactical, rules-based strategy that rides tech-heavy uptrends with leveraged ETFs, but quickly de-risks or hedges when momentum fades or markets overheat. It also times Treasuries, rotates strong sectors/mega-caps, and includes small EM and Bitcoin sleeves.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-based “risk dial.” When the stock market is trending up, it leans into growth (often with leveraged tech/Nasdaq ETFs). If the market turns weak or looks overheated, it cuts risk, hedges with shorts or volatility funds, or moves to cash/gold. A separate bond module flips long/short Treasuries as rates change. Small sleeves rotate strong sectors, top mega-caps, EM, and a trend-based Bitcoin slice.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic risk-dial strategy to ride tech uptrends, hedge declines, and diversify beyond the S&P 500. Out-of-sample data show negative annualized return and larger drawdowns vs SPY—best as a tactical hedge/diversifier, not core.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
