About

Daily market-timing for U.S. stocks: short 40% when things look overheated; otherwise buy tech (QQQ or 3x TQQQ on deep dips) or rotate to Utilities/Staples when trends weaken.
NutHow it works
Each day the model checks: 1) If the market looks “too hot” (very strong short‑term readings in SPY or key sectors), it puts 40% into SH, which rises when the S&P 500 falls. 2) If not hot and tech looks deeply sold off, it buys TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100). 3) Otherwise it uses long‑term trends (S&P 500, Dow, Utilities): if trends look healthy, it buys QQQ; if not, it holds Utilities (XLU) and Staples (XLP).
CheckmarkValue prop
An adaptive hedge overlay: 40% SH during froth and rotations to tech/defensives to dampen S&P drawdowns and add diversification. Caveat: out-of-sample risk-adjusted results are negative; best as a tactical sleeve, not core.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
