About

A daily, semiconductor‑focused, high‑octane strategy. It uses bond and inflation cues and an RSI “heat” score to switch between 3x long/short tech or defensive plays (Treasuries, gold/silver, healthcare/staples), usually pairing the pick with 50% cash.
NutHow it works
Daily, it reads bonds and inflation to set risk, then trades one ETF plus cash. If inflation (VTIP) is hot and rising, buy the most “washed‑out” of staples/healthcare/long Treasuries/gold/silver (low RSI = colder), 50% cash. Else use bonds as a risk gauge: if cash‑like bills weaken vs Treasuries and stocks aren’t “too hot” (high RSI), go 3x long semis (SOXL). If risk‑off, choose either 3x bear (SOXS/SQQQ) or 3x bull (SOXL/TECL) based on which just fell more. RSI is a heat meter: high=hot, low=cold.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets superior risk-adjusted upside vs SPY: ~85% annualized return vs ~32%, Calmar ~2.7, and negative beta, plus inflation-aware defensives and a cash ballast for diversification.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
