About

Rules-based plan using recent 60‑day trends. If tech leads, it concentrates in the 2 strongest mega‑cap stocks; if SPY leads, it holds SPY; otherwise it holds an even 5‑way mix of US stocks, small‑value, Treasuries, T‑bills, and gold.
NutHow it works
It checks which broad fund has the stronger 60‑day trend: QQQ (big tech), SPY (S&P 500), or VTI (total US). If tech is leading (QQQ>VTI), it buys the 2 strongest of AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, NVDA, GOOGL/GOOG, META, TSLA. If SPY beats VTI while tech lags SPY, it buys SPY. Otherwise it splits evenly across VTI (US stocks), VBR (US small‑value), TLH (10–20y Treasuries), SHV (T‑bills), and GLD (gold). Goal: ride winners; diversify when leadership is unclear.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-switching, momentum-based strategy designed to beat the S&P. OOS annualized return ~26.9% vs SPY ~22.8%; a diversified sleeve cushions drawdowns (~33.6% vs ~18.8%) when leadership is unclear.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
