Each month it splits money evenly across 10 ETFs: U.S. stocks (SPY), Europe (VGK), Japan (EWJ), emerging markets (EEM), U.S. real estate (VNQ), foreign real estate (VNQI), gold (GLD), broad commodities (DBC), and long (TLT) plus mid-term (IEF) U.S. Treasury bonds. If something can’t be bought, that part stays in cash until next month.
