About

A 401k/IRA‑friendly, multi‑asset mix of stocks, gold, T‑Bills, managed‑futures, plus small short‑vol and long/short sleeves. Aims for steadier returns using diversification and a simple 3‑month trend “off switch” on some stock slices. No leverage.
NutHow it works
Targets: ~56% stocks (value/momentum funds, emerging dividends, mega-cap tech + Lennar, biotech leaders, energy pipelines, healthcare REIT), 6% T‑Bills, 25.5% managed‑futures (trend‑following across many markets: DBMF/CTA/KMLM), 5.75% gold, 3.5% short‑vol (SVXY), 2.75% long/short (FLSP). Some stock slices use a 3‑month trend check: if weak, that slice parks in T‑Bills. Mostly buy‑and‑hold; no margin.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy shows higher risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P 500: stronger Sharpe, lower drawdowns (12.4% vs 18.8%), and beta ~0.57. Diversified, retirement-friendly mix (futures, gold, T‑Bills) for steadier upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
