About

All-in, daily. If SPY is up or down big, buy the single best performer among mega-cap tech, SPY, or SPXL (3x S&P 500). If SPY is only slightly down, hold BIL (T-bills). Very concentrated, tech-heavy, high turnover and risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks how the S&P 500 (SPY) moved. If SPY was up, it puts 100% into whichever of SPY, SPXL (3x S&P 500), AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL, AMZN, TSLA, NVDA had the best 1‑day gain. If SPY was slightly down (~0% to -1%), it parks in BIL (T-bills). If SPY fell more than ~1%, it again picks the single best name from that same list. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~43% annualized return and Sharpe ~1.23 vs SPY ~0.98, with Calmar ~1.69. Concentrated mega-cap tech momentum using SPY/SPXL on up days and BIL on mild dips—stronger risk-adjusted upside than the S&P, but larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
