About

Own Apple, Microsoft, and Google when their 50‑day average price is above the 200‑day (uptrend); otherwise that portion parks in BIL (T‑Bills). Equal-weighted across three slices, checked and rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Each day it looks at Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), and Alphabet/Google (GOOGL). If a stock’s recent 50‑day average price is above its 200‑day average (an uptrend), that 1/3 slice holds the stock. If not, that slice goes to BIL, a T‑Bill fund. All three slices are equal and rebalanced daily. If none are in uptrends, everything sits in BIL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Disciplined trend-following with downside protection: uptrends in AAPL/MSFT/GOOGL, else T-Bills. Out-of-sample drawdown 13.84% vs SPY 14.70%; Calmar ~0.75; beta ~0.38. A smoother, risk-managed complement to the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
