About
A simple, concentrated stock portfolio: 40% Apple, 30% Microsoft, 30% Alphabet, with occasional rebalancing only when the weights drift too far.
This strategy puts 40% in Apple, 30% in Microsoft, and 30% in Alphabet (Google’s parent company). It does not use trading indicators or try to predict the market.
It mostly leaves the portfolio alone, but if one holding drifts too far from its target weight—about 2 percentage points—it rebalances back toward the original mix.
Out-of-sample return ~39.8% vs ~22.5% for the S&P; Sharpe ~1.62, Calmar ~2.30. Simple 40/30/30 AAPL/MSFT/GOOGL with low turnover, beta ~1.04, rebalancing on 2pp drift. Drawdown ~17.3% but far higher upside.
