About

Keeps equal 25% slices in Bitcoin, Ethereum, SPY (S&P 500), and Apple, rebalancing daily. Sells some of what just rose and buys what fell. Simple and disciplined, but high volatility, trading/tax costs, and concentration in tech and crypto.
NutHow it works
Each day the portfolio holds 25% in four assets and rebalances back to those targets: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), SPY (a fund that mirrors the S&P 500 stock index), and Apple stock (AAPL). If one grows past 25%, it trims it; if one drops below 25%, it buys more. This builds a steady “buy low, sell high” habit across crypto and U.S. stocks, but causes frequent trades, taxes, and big exposure to tech and crypto swings.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return 33.8% vs SPY 24.5%; Calmar 1.31 signals solid risk-adjusted gains. Higher volatility and ~25.7% drawdowns, but disciplined crypto/tech rebalancing can outperform the S&P 500 over the long run.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
