About

Default: 50/50 Apple and Microsoft. If market fear spikes, switch to SPXU (profits when the S&P 500 falls). If tech gets too hot, switch to SQQQ (profits when the Nasdaq falls). Signals checked and rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks two heat gauges. 1) If market fear (VIXM, a volatility fund) has run hot for ~40 days, it moves 100% to SPXU, a 3x fund that goes up when the S&P 500 goes down. Otherwise 2) if tech (TQQQ, a 3x Nasdaq fund) looks overheated over 10 days, it moves 100% to SQQQ (profits when Nasdaq falls). If neither is hot, it holds Apple and Microsoft 50/50.
CheckmarkValue prop
Near-SPY upside with a disciplined hedging overlay. Out-of-sample return: 22.4% vs SPY 23.6%; Sharpe ~1.0 vs 1.37. A rules-based, diversified core plus tactical hedges offers risk management and portfolio resilience in volatile markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
